Huron Darts is a complete dart league, event and scoring system that is free to use. There is no subscription and no fee to score, play or run an event. Here is everything it does.
Scoring app
Runs on any phone or tablet at the board and can be added to the home screen like an app.
- 301, 501, 701 or any custom start score.
- Double in / double out, single in / double out, or single in / single out.
- Score each dart, or just type the turn total.
- Singles or teams, with as many players per team as you need. Each team throws in rotation, and the order moves on by one every new match.
- Single games or best of 3 or 5.
- Practice mode that only keeps score, with nothing saved.
- Undo for the last turn, and bust and checkout handling built in.
Organizer app
Made for a tablet at the organizer table. Event organizers get their own login with no access to the rest of the website.
- Add tonight's players by name, from the member list, or let players sign themselves up.
- Pick the number of teams and tap once: teams are drawn at random, numbered and the matches are generated.
- Round robin, round robin with single elimination, or round robin with double elimination.
- Playoff brackets are seeded from the round robin standings.
- Live view of every match, the standings and the bracket as results come in.
- Final placings from 1st to last when the event finishes.
Board tablets
- Each tablet joins the event by scanning a QR code or typing a short code. No login needed.
- Set each tablet's board number once. Matches are then sent to free boards automatically.
- The tablet shows Team vs Team and the throwing order. Touch the screen to start.
- Results go straight back to the organizer, and the next match appears by itself.
Players and registration
- Register with just a name and email. Your password is emailed to you.
- Sign up for an event from the website, or scan the sign-up code on the night.
- Do not want an account? The organizer can add you by name and you play as a guest.
Player stats
Stats are saved for registered players in league and event games, including each person's own throws on a team.
- 3-dart average, first-9 average and points per turn.
- Darts thrown, wins, losses and win rate.
- Checkout percentage and highest checkout.
- 180s, 140+, 100+ and 60+ turns.
- Share of your team's points.
- Breakdowns by event and game type, and a league leaderboard.
On the website
- Upcoming events with registration.
- Schedules, results, standings and final placings.
- A news post for every new league night and tournament.
Your own branding
Both apps can carry your own logo and colours. Each event can have its own branding too, set by the organizer, and the board tablets switch to it when they join that event.
